Sweepstakes Official Rules
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning . This Sweepstakes is open only to residents of Cook County and Lake County, Illinois, who meet the eligibility criteria below. Void outside those counties and where prohibited by law. Subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations .
Eligibility
Who May Enter: This Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of Cook County or Lake County in the state of Illinois who are twenty one (21) years of age or older at the time of entry. Eligible entrants must be physically residing in one of these counties . Proof of residency and age may be required.
Employees, officers, and directors of Body in Gear Palatine, 2001 N Rand Rd Unit E Palatine, IL 60074 (“Sponsor”), its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and any other parties involved in the administration of the Sweepstakes (collectively, “Sweepstakes Entities”), as well as the immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each such person, are not eligible to enter or win . Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility and to disqualify any entrant who does not meet the eligibility requirements. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
Sweepstakes Period
The Sweepstakes entry period will last for 7 days. The exact start date and end date (the “Entry Period”) will be stated by the Sponsor once determined. For example, if the Entry Period begins on 9/20/25 at 12:00 AM Central Time (CT), it will end on 9/27/25 at 11:59 PM CT, 7 days later. All entries must be received during the announced Entry Period. Sponsor’s computer/server is the official time-keeping device for this Sweepstakes.
How to Enter
To enter, visit the Sponsor’s website at [https://bodyingear.com/sweepstakes] during the Entry Period and complete the online entry form with all required information. Follow the instructions to submit the form electronically. Entry is free; no purchase or payment is required to participate .
Limit one (1) entry per person (and per email address) for the entire Sweepstakes. Multiple entries by the same individual will be disqualified . Automated or bulk entries, or entries submitted by third-party services, are not permitted and will be void. All entries become the property of the Sponsor upon submission and will not be acknowledged or returned. By submitting an entry, you agree to abide by these Official Rules and to accept the Sponsor’s decisions as final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes .
Winner Selection and Notification
At the conclusion of the Entry Period, one (1) potential winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received. The drawing will be conducted on or about September 20th by the Sponsor or its designated independent judging organization. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received .
The potential winner will be notified via the contact information provided at entry (such as email or telephone). Sponsor will attempt to contact the drawn winner within approximately 2 business days of the drawing. If the selected winner cannot be reached after a reasonable effort (or fails to respond within 5 days of the notification), or if they are found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, the Sponsor may, at its discretion, select an alternate winner by random drawing from the remaining eligible entries .
Before being declared the official winner, the potential winner may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release (except where prohibited by law) within a timeframe specified by Sponsor. If the potential winner fails to sign and return required documents on time, or if the prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be chosen.
Prize Description and Value
Prize (1): The winner will receive a Wellness Treatment Protocol and a 1-Year Preservation Plan. This prize consists of a comprehensive wellness treatment program and a year-long preservation/maintenance plan provided by Sponsor (specific details of the protocol and plan will be outlined by Sponsor). The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the prize is $9,398.
No cash alternative or other substitution of the prize is permitted, except at the Sponsor’s discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize (or any portion thereof) with another item of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for any reason . The prize is non-transferable and may not be sold or exchanged. The winner will be solely responsible for any and all expenses and incidental costs not expressly stated as part of the prize, including any required travel or accommodations if the wellness treatment must be accessed at a specific location (unless otherwise specified by Sponsor).
All federal, state, and local taxes on the prize are the winner’s responsibility . The winner will receive an IRS Form 1099 for the value of the prize, as required by law, because the prize value exceeds $600 . Sponsor will coordinate with the winner to schedule or deliver the wellness treatment and plan. Prize delivery: In compliance with Illinois law, Sponsor will deliver the prize or begin prize fulfillment to the confirmed winner within 30 days of winner verification .
Publicity Release and Liability Waiver
By participating in this Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees that if they are selected as the winner, the Sponsor and its designees may use the winner’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions, and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, in perpetuity, without further notice, consent, or compensation, except where prohibited by law . The winner may be asked to sign a separate publicity release as a condition of accepting the prize (where lawful).
By entering, all participants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, Sweepstakes Entities, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims or liabilities arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, receipt, use, or misuse of the prize . This release covers all claims including, without limitation, those arising from any technical errors, lost or delayed data/entries, telecommunications failures, unauthorized intervention, or injuries/damages of any kind to persons or property . Entrants assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this Sweepstakes or use of the prize. The Released Parties make no warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the prize, including but not limited to its quality, fitness for a particular purpose, or mechanical condition. Entrants further agree that in any cause of action, the Released Parties’ liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Sweepstakes, and in no case shall the Released Parties be liable for attorneys’ fees or punitive damages . NOTE: Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you in its entirety.
General Conditions
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes, or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt to deliberately damage the website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil laws, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies to the fullest extent permitted by law .
The Released Parties are not responsible for: (i) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines, internet connectivity or electronic transmission errors, network hardware or software failures; (iii) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; or (iv) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries . If for any reason (including fraud, tampering, viruses, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the control of Sponsor) the Sweepstakes cannot be executed as planned, Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes (in whole or in part) . If the Sweepstakes is terminated early, Sponsor may, in its discretion, select the winner from all eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of cancellation. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded.
All interpretations of these Official Rules and decisions by the Sponsor are final. Entrant Conduct: Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects . Any violation of these rules by a winner (at Sponsor’s sole discretion) will result in such winner’s disqualification as the winner and all privileges as winner will be immediately terminated.
Governing Law and Disputes
By entering, entrants agree that any and all disputes, claims, or causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the State of Illinois. Governing Law: All issues concerning the construction, validity, and enforcement of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and Sponsor, shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law rules . Entrants consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Illinois for the resolution of all such disputes.
Winner Announcement
The winner will be announced after the drawing and verification process is complete. The winner’s first name, last initial, and city (e.g., John D. of Chicago, IL) may be posted on Sponsor’s website or social media pages. For the name of the prize winner, you may also send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the Sponsor at the address below, Attn: “[Sweepstakes Name] Winner”. Requests must be received within 30 days after the end of the Entry Period.

Sponsor: Body in Gear Palatine, 2001 N Rand Rd Unit E Palatine, IL 60074. Sponsor is the official sponsor and administrator of this Sweepstakes. All inquiries regarding the Sweepstakes should be directed to the Sponsor.
These Official Rules have been prepared to ensure the Sweepstakes is conducted in compliance with applicable laws, including Illinois sweepstakes requirements. No purchase is necessary to enter (to avoid any illegal lottery under Illinois law) , and Illinois does not require any state registration or bonding for this Sweepstakes, given that it is open only to Illinois residents . All entrants are subject to the Official Rules and by participating agree to all terms herein.
